Senior Sales Executive - Electric Utility.

Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets based on territory goals and/or named accounts
  • Build and execute a sales plan for the territory and/or named accounts with a focus on electric utilities. Potential for account responsibilities in natural gas and telecom
  • Build, grow, and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities based on existing strategic relationships and development of new relationships through a strong industry network
  • Work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, and Account Management providing client feedback and supporting communication of messaging to the industry
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with executives, industry leaders, and other stakeholders 
  • Gather high-level requirements from clients, propose solutions, and author proposals
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering to develop demo strategy based on clients needs and expectations 
  • Work together with clients to create a shared vision for how Locusview technology can be deployed to create value, increase efficiency, and reduce risk.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience selling software to electric utilities is required (telecom experience a plus)
  • Experience with utility IT (graphic work design, work management, asset management, and GIS)
  • Knowledge of utility construction operations
  • Consistent track record of goal attainment and meeting or exceeding quota 
  • Experience with business application sales in a complex selling environment 
  • Proven ability to build a strategic and concise territory plan and execute according to plan
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, creative thinker with an appreciation of corporate goals
  • Articulate, confident, self-aware, and personable character
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field
  • Willingness for travel (up to 75%) within assigned territory (post-COVID)
