Locusview is a global growth stage SaaS startup in the digital construction management space that enables infrastructure organizations to scale execution and optimize their capital investments. Our platform leverages mobile, web, and hardware technologies to create guided workflows in the field and back offices to optimize safety and efficiency at all stages of long-cycle work from planning to execution and close-out.

We're seeking a Solution Architect to own all technical client-facing interactions and deliverables in the Locusview implementation team. Working closely with the Product & Development teams, the Solution Architect has primary responsibility for gathering requirements, designing, process mapping, configuring, and managing client-specific end-to-end technical solutions that meet client requirements, including supporting integration with existing IT systems. Strong attention to detail & conceptual understanding of how Locusview technology provides value, creative problem solving, and the ability to simultaneously lead multiple projects are essential skills for this position.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, document and organize all client technical software solution requirements through initial discovery, intake, and client-facing requirements gathering sessions
  • Analyze and improve as-is/to-be client business processes and workflows for new technology implementation
  • Design, create and manage client-specific end-to-end technical solutions to meet client requirements, including configuring Locusview’s mobile, web, export, and report applications or services
  • Author all technical documentation including Functional Design, Configuration Matrix, and Requirements Traceability Matrix
  • Lead and document API-driven integration efforts with client existing IT systems
  • Log product bugs and enhancements
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of demonstrated experience implementing complex technical solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (STEM)
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work and learn independently
  • Experience providing services in a consultant or product role
  • Experience leading long-lifecycle technical projects
  • Experience in interfacing with numerous project stakeholders within an enterprise to gather cross-functional requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful with a willingness to find creative solutions to complex problems and a bias towards action
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must be willing to support and able to moderate (25%) levels of travel throughout the US

Preferred

  • Experience implementing mobile, web, data export, or GIS technologies with clients
  • Experience working with data-driven and integration solutions
  • Experience with enterprise work & asset management software products (SAP, Maximo, Asset Suite)
  • Experience with GIS software products (Esri, ArcFM, Smallworld)
  • Experience managing software product development
  • Experience creating & writing workflow and business process white-papers
  • Experience with high-accuracy field data collection, including GPS and RTK
